Here at Wix & Wrabness Pre-School, we have an excellent understanding of children's lives and their social contexts, basing our teaching around them. Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our work. We also support you, the parent, in bringing up your child.

We aim to:

 enable all children to learn and develop their skills to the best of their ability.

 promote a positive attitude toards learning.

 promote self-discovery, exploration and curiosity towards learning.

 promote an ethos of mutual respect and kindness, and a sense of what is and what   is  not acceptable codes of behaviour.

 help children understand the importance of truth and fairness, so that they begin to   learn the importance of equal opportunities.

 endorse and support children's high self esteems so they have the confidence to 'try'. We advocate the importance of the process of learning and not necessarily the end product.
